Weight Loss
PHX Plastic Surgery is now offering Tirzepatide! Call our office at 602-610-2999 to schedule your appointment with Dr. Jason D. Johnson.
At your consultation, Dr. Johnson will review your weight loss program. The GLP-1 medication is given subcutaneously weekly and dosage increases will be determined by Dr. Johnson. Patients who are not receiving injections monthly may be considered to not be using the medicine at its standard dosing to meet its maximum benefits and may not qualify for a dosage increase. You may have some side effects such as mild nausea or stomach cramping as you are adjusting to it. Some patients may also experience indigestion, but this is usually mild and relieved with over-the-counter antacids. We highly advise patients against self-dosing or using other patients’ medications.
